Plant Sale And Home Bake At The Parish Hall

Spring Is Here

Now is the time to tidy your garden, split your perennials and pot up some plants for the plant sale. We would like as much variety as possible so that we can offer people choice and opportunity to stock their gardens at bargain prices, making Lydgate even more attractive than ever! We would love any donations – Plants, herbs, annuals, perennials and seeds… Indeed anything that grows!

We also need you to look up your favourite recipes and get baking for the home produce stall. Not just cakes, (although cake’s both big and small are welcome!) but pies, pickles, jams, marmalade, biscuit, bread and tray bakes are all very welcome.

There will be cakes ‘to go’ as well as treats to enjoy on the day a cup of coffee or tea.

Please bring your plants and produce to the Parish Hall on the day from 10:30 am, onwards. There will also be a tombola stall. Do you have any ‘bits and bobs’ you no longer need, any unwanted gifts? We would be very glad of them.
